Following a national cabinet meeting last night, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced all Licensed premises within clubs in the country will be closed starting midday today the 23rd March.

This means there will be no presentations held after competition rounds and the clubhouse itself will remain closed until further notice.

The golf course and pro-shop are to remain open and all members are reminded to follow personal hygiene and social distancing advice.

It should be noted that the vast majority of golfers can and should continue to use the golf course.

Of course, golfers should exhibit a heightened awareness of personal hygiene as has been encouraged by state and federal health departments. By its nature, golf promotes a level of social distancing and while it is important that this is adhered to, golf is a lower risk sport than many others.

The Board held an Special Corona Virus Meeting this evening to discuss an number of alternatives in terms of how we as a club proceed from here. 

The next week will be seen as a trial as to the social distancing model we have implemented in the hope members will adhere to all the strategies outlined. It is important that we all take this situation very seriously and follow all the guidelines in place.

The club will continue to update the membership as new information or legislation is released. In the meantime we ask you to adhere to the following policies that have been put in place:
