TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS

1. MANAGEMENT & RULES
The tournament and Ambrose shall be managed
by the Tournament Committee whose decisions
will be binding on all players. Play shall be in
accordance with the Rules of Golf by the Royal &
Ancient Golf Club and Local Rules promulgated by
the Tournament Committee.
2. VASSE NEWTOWN WEST COAST OPEN
2.1 Eligibility & Field - Open to male golfers with
handicaps approved by the Australian Golf Union.
Entries accepted in order of receipt, including fee(s)
2.2 Draws -
2.2.1 Paxton Averages - Players nominating their
scores be submitted for Paxton Averages shall
play in threes Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning
and Monday afternoon.
2.2.2 All Others shall play in fours and every effort
shall be made to accommodate hit-off preferences
for both Saturday and Monday.
2.2.3 The draws for Saturday and Sunday will be posted on the Club's website will be forwarded to home clubs and to players who have submitted an email address by Thursday 18th September. Monday's draw shall be posted on the Notice Board as soon as possible.


 

2.3 Report & Time Limit - A player may be
disqualified from a day's play if he fails to report
to the Starter at least 20 minutes before he is
designated to hit-off. Playing groups are required
to complete their round within 04:20 hours.
2.4 Championship Tie - In the event of a tie for
first place a sudden death play-off shall be played
as directed by the Tournament Director.
2.5 Trophies - A player may only win one of the
following trophies.
2.5.1 Championship - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Gross
& Nett + nett trophies for Best Junior (Under 18 on
1st January 2008) & Best Veteran (55 years  and over on 26th September 2008).
2.5.2 Each Round - 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Gross & Nett.
3 VASSE NEWTOWN WEST COAST AMBROSE
Open to teams of four (men & women) with up to 18 teams reserved for sponsors.Entries accepted in order of receipt, including fees,and players are required to register on the day no later than 11.30am. Trophies to be awarded for 1st,
2nd ,3rd, 4th & 5th nett, plus novelty and skill prizes on every hole.
4 REFUNDS
Entry fees are non refundable after the publication
of the draw.                                                                 
5 Entrants may receive promotional material from the sponsors.
