TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS
1. MANAGEMENT
& RULES
The tournament
and Ambrose will be managed by the Tournament Committee whose
decisions will be binding on all players. Play will be in accordance
with the Rules of Golf by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club and Local
Rules promulgated by the Tournament Committee.
2. GEOGRAPHE
LADIES’ GOLF CLASSIC
2.1
Eligibility & Field – Open
to women golfers with handicaps approved by Women’s Golf Australia
to a maximum of 36. The field is limited to 240; entries accepted in
order of receipt together with fees.Entrants whose handicaps exceed 34 will be placed on the waiting
list and may be included in the draw, depending on numbers.
2.2 Draws –
Every effort will be made to accommodate hit-off preferences for
both Saturday & Sunday. The draw for Saturday will be forwarded to
home clubs on Thursday 7rd March, Sunday’s draw will be posted
on the notice board on Saturday evening.

2.3 Report &
Time Limit – A player may
be disqualified from a day’s play if she fails to report to the
Starter at least 20 minutes before she is designated to hit-off.
Play will be in groups of 4 which are required to complete the round
within 04:20 hours.
2.4
Championship Tie – In the
event of a tie for first place a sudden death play-off will be
played as directed by the Tournament Director.
2.5 Trophies –
Each round: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Gross & Nett. 36 Holes: 1st, 2nd 3rd Gross and Nett. Best Junior
(Under 18 years on 1st January, 2012) & Best Senior (60 years
& over on 7th March, 2012) Nett. A player may only
win one of the above trophies.
3. GEOGRAPHE
AMBROSE
Teams of four. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt and
players are required to register no later than 11.30am on the day.
Teams will be drawn and there will be a maximum of two males per
team.
4. REFUNDS - Entry fees are
non-refundable after the publication of the
draw. Withdrawal prior to publication of the
draw will receive a refund less 10%.
5. Entrants may receive
promotional material from sponsors.
